We already knew that the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is a serious performance beast ready to bring some impressive numbers on the track. But now Chevrolet has upped the ante with the introduction of the most track-capable Camaro ever, the 2018 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE, which debuted last weekend before the big race in Daytona. On top of the 650 horsepower and 650 pound feet of torque already provided by the Camaro ZL1, the 1LE package adds racing-based suspension and aero technologies, as well as exclusive Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3R summer-only tires. “The new Camaro ZL1 1LE offers the supreme track experience,” said Mark Dickens, executive director, Chevrolet Performance Variants, Parts and Motorsports Engineering. “It’s the pinnacle of Camaro performance and advances the 1LE’s nearly 30-year legacy of uncompromising, track-tailored capability.” Phillips Chevrolet in Frankfort and Lansing has Illinois’ Largest Chevy Inventory, including a great selection of Camaros which the ZL1 1LE will join later this year.
