Chevy Camaro ZL1 1LE Earns Road & Track Honors

We were beyond excited when we learned that the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE would deliver 650 horsepower and 650 pound feet of torque plus racing-based suspension and aero technologies, and we weren’t alone. The editors at Road & Track were so impressed they named it runner up in their Performance Car of the Year competition, beaten only by a McLaren supercar with a price tag four times that of the Camaro. In fact, their drivers loved the Camaro’s bang for the buck so much they said, “when a machine costs half as much as the Porsche in our competition and is faster around a racetrack, while plastering a grin across the face of everyone who drives it, the fact that said car is such a bargain makes it even more noteworthy.”  Phillips Chevrolet in Frankfort, Lansing and Bradley has Illinois’ Largest Chevy Inventory, including a great selection of powerful Camaros including the ZL1.
